Always My Mother by Elysia
Although my mother is not a great cook,
And tells unhumourous jokes,
And can’t help me much in homework.
But still, she is the best mother I have ever known.
She is my guardian angel.
When I’m sad, she wipes my tears.
When I’m afraid, she comforts me.
When I’m lonely, she’s there to accompany me.
She is like my best friend.
Always there when I need her.
Always ready to catch me when I fall.
Always catching my tears of joy.
She may be my guardian angel,
or may be best friend.
But at the end of the day,
She will always be my mum.
She is as gentle as a dove,
as graceful as a swan,
as elegant as an unicorn,
But loving me forever and always.
The angel in the picture depicts my mother. She, like what I wrote in the poem, is my guardian angel.
She protects me, guides me, and care for me. In the picture, the angel is holding a dove gently, looking onto the dove.
Like the painting, my mother cares for me like the angel caring for the dove, having her full attention.
